I got this scanner to replace our old CanonScan – which was over 9 years old, since we got it before we were married and are going on 9 years. That dinosaur connected with a parallel port, and would no longer connect to any of our 4 computers in the house. (it did connect to the computer that just went into the basement collection last month)
Today I scanned 3 bins of old photos and threw them away. Whew, feels good. I sense a spring dumpster in our near future. The plan is to clear out the unfinished basement to allow Paul and Hannah to build a half-pipe, or maybe a bowl, downstairs. Hannah learned to Skateboard this week with Paul at the Barrel.
PS- lest you underestimate the volume of photos that were scanned and tossed: 1 bin was a Sterlite 18 gallon bin. the other 2 were your basic shoebox size.
This scanner was FAST and user friendly.
