What is WRONG with you people?
I have better things to do than babysit you. It’s a church forum. Nice people. They don’t want your smut. GO AWAY

How appropriate

That I still have a lovely pile of Christmas letters not sent out, even though I am such a fan of getting them from others…

You will be getting your “Merry January” letters soon, I hope. Paul wrote them this year and he did such a great job. I meant my procrastination as no disrespect to my wonderful husband. I’ll get them out Honey, really.

On the business front, 23 hours of video rendering for this year’s Christmas Eve service. And that was without glitches. My computer behaved beautifully. For which I am grateful. Even though it was a surprising amount of work, it was wonderful.

No, I am not willfully ignoring phone calls- event though that sounds like a great idea to me.

I have lost my cell phone charger, and it’s been dead for days. Our home phones are also dead. I will be going to purchase a new home phone today, hopefully a fancy read double handset version I saw at Target a while back, with an answering machine, of course. Poor Hannah, she had to go to Mom & Dad’s house today just to call her friend. Still, it is kinda peaceful around here…

Done! Finally!

The Christmas dress is finished. Multiple layers in the skirt, an upside down zipper on the top - for those of you who know my past skill with zippers, 2 zippers in this outfit. Clean finished edges, a little black tulle peeking out the bottom for the fun of it. I only followed the pattern for about the 1st half of the project, then I made my own modifications. Very retro, very cute. Can’t wait to wear it tomorrow at Christmas Eve services.

I really, really like Christmas card season

It’s just so fun to catch up and read what people write in Christmas letters. And I love surprises like I just got when we opened our card from Melanie Berg. (Melanie Markie for all of you that know her from our high school years) I was looking forward to seeing how daughter Savannah had grown, and there was a new baby boy sitting next to her! Welcome to the world, Bosley ! Your eyes are big like your Momma’s beautiful eyes. What a great way to start the day.
