Canon CanoScan LiDE90 Color Image Scanner ($75.00 from Amazon.com)
I got this scanner to replace our old CanonScan – which was over 9 years old, since we got it before we were married and are going on 9 years. That dinosaur connected with a parallel port, and would no longer connect to any of our 4 computers in the house. (it did connect to the computer that just went into the basement collection last month)
Today I scanned 3 bins of old photos and threw them away. Whew, feels good. I sense a spring dumpster in our near future. The plan is to clear out the unfinished basement to allow Paul and Hannah to build a half-pipe, or maybe a bowl, downstairs. Hannah learned to Skateboard this week with Paul at the Barrel.
PS- lest you underestimate the volume of photos that were scanned and tossed: 1 bin was a Sterlite 18 gallon bin. the other 2 were your basic shoebox size.
This scanner was FAST and user friendly.

Yes this is a real bug. I made Dad put it on a pop can so you can see how HUGE it was. I wasn’t about to touch it.

Did I mention that being at a game is even MORE boring, long and cold than watching it on TV? Sorry - it’s true. But Paul loves it and we go every other year or so with our friends Jason & Heather. It’s fun to be with them.

This is how close she usually is to your face when you wake up every morning. Very disconcerting at first. Gotta love her.

PhotoQ
This description was copied from the Photoq site: PhotoQ places uploaded photos in a queue, giving you a convenient way to manage photos to be posted.
The plugin then gives you the possibility to have the top of the queue automatically posted at a given interval. In short, PhotoQ was designed to automate and simplify your photo posting process as much as possible. It takes away the hassle of browsing uploaded image files and embedding them into posts: You simply upload your photo to the queue and enter desired information about the photo.
Brandy’s review: this is Huge for me! I have been avoiding photos in my posts because I found it to be too putzy to embed files. For me to blog, it’s gotta be SUPER easy or I won’t bother. This is my answer.

Yes, this shirt does look like a coconut bra- but the intention was all good. (Sorry, Nan, I’m just sayin’)
