I’m in WordPress now- and I had such sucess importing my old posts that I found my super old blogger posts and imported them too. I now have a complete blog from back in my first blogging days. Except I wasn’t sucessful in importing the very old blogger comments. Ah well, I didn’t really try that hard either.
I built Hannah’s Thailand blog in wordpress, and really appreciated the widgets. I used the text feature to make a place to commit to praying for the girls and working donation buttons. This is a minor code victory for me.
I think I will look into rolling this blog over to wordpress for fun.
Are you getting errors on flash based web sites- like sermonspice.com - that say something about needing to update your flash player, but following the link they provide to download the latest version doesn’t work?
That’s because installing an updated flash player over an older version won’t “take”. And add/remove programs is not enough to remove you older version either.
Instead, use this link: http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/uninstall_flash_player.exe to download the adobe flash player uninstaller.
Then restart your computer before you head out to your favorite site that has been giving you trouble. Your update install should work just fine this time.
